Overview
Join our manufacturing team as a Paint Batch Maker, where you'll play a vital role in producing high-quality paints and coatings for diverse applications. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment focused on precision, safety, and continuous improvement. Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required.
Responsibilities
Must be able read and understand written and verbal instructions in English.
Must be able read and understand Safety Data Sheets written in English for all raw materials and finished goods.
Must communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and management on daily task assignments and production priorities.
Must follow and adhere to all Safety Rules and Regulations.
Must have solid understanding of basic math; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and units of measure (mass and volumetric).
Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. and lift 55 lbs. up to shoulder height and perform work requirements standing or walking for at least 8 hours per shift.
Forklift training and certification required. Experienced forkIift operator preferred. If not certified, Shearwater can provide training & certification.
Responsible for general maintenance of and operation of production equipment.
Cleaning and maintaining the mixing and measuring equipment, production tanks, tools and utensils and production floor area is the responsibility of this position.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
