Common is seeking a warm, dynamic Maître d' to lead our award-winning front-of-house team. As the face of the restaurant and the first point of contact for guests in the heart of downtown Savannah, you will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience.

The Role
- Orchestrate the Floor: Act as the lead conductor of the dining room, managing all reservations, large party arrangements, and seating flow to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Set the Standard: Maintain the highest possible standards of service while curating the overall ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant space.
- Lead and Connect: Foster strong, positive communication and partnership across the entirety of the FOH team.
What You Need
- Experience: Considerable prior experience in high-end, fast-paced food service environments.
- Poise & Professionalism: An impeccable demeanor with the ability to remain gracious, composed, and "on stage" at all times, no matter how busy the room gets.
- Technical Skills: A strong, professional working knowledge of the OpenTable platform.
- Physical Stamina: The ability to stand for long periods, confidently navigate stairs multiple times a day, lift up to 25 lbs, and comfortably perform active tasks (bending, reaching) throughout a shift.
