All Out Smash is looking for an outgoing, energetic, and dependable Axe Throwing Coach to join our team! This is a guest-facing position for someone who enjoys working with people, knows how to keep a crowd entertained, and can create an unforgettable experience while keeping safety the top priority.
Previous axe throwing experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person.
All employees also earn tips that are paid out weekly, giving you the opportunity to earn additional income on top of your hourly pay.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome guests and get them excited for their axe throwing experience.
- Provide clear safety instructions and throwing demonstrations before each session.
- Coach guests on proper throwing techniques and help them improve throughout their session.
- Lead different axe throwing games, competitions, and challenges.
- Keep groups engaged, entertained, and having a great time.
- Closely monitor the axe throwing area and enforce all safety rules.
- Reset lanes and targets and keep the axe throwing area clean and organized.
- Inspect axes, targets, and equipment and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
- Keep sessions running on time and smoothly transition between groups.
- Assist guests with questions about other All Out Smash experiences, upgrades, and add-ons.
- Jump in and assist other areas of the facility when needed.

Requirements & Preferred Experience
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous axe throwing experience is preferred.
- Previous axe throwing coaching experience is a plus.
- Customer service, hospitality, entertainment, coaching, or sales experience is also a plus.
- Must be comfortable handling and demonstrating the use of axes and other approved throwing equipment.
- Must be able to stand and remain active for extended periods.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and confidently with guests and coworkers.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and peak business hours as scheduled.
- Weekend availability is MANDATORY.
