AMT Inc. – a leading manufacturer of Precision Investment Castings – has an immediate opening for a wax pattern injector in our Sharon Springs, NY facility.
The position is full-time hourly on our 1st shift, Monday - Friday, from 7am - 3:30PM. The job requires working in our air conditioned wax pattern injection department. Candidates must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Wax injection experience is not required; however, anyone with a background with hand tools, metal working, manufacturing, and operations is encouraged to apply.

Manufacturing Operator
Responsibilities
- Reporting to and performing tasks as assigned by department supervisor
- Basic operation of general manufacturing equipment
- Adherence to all company standards of conduct including adherence to safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing
Qualifications
- Outstanding work ethic and the ability to multi-task
- Ability to read and understand operating procedures and specifications with guidance from supervisor
- Ability to wear PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to stay focused with strong attention to detail
