The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The Front Desk Agent will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle inquiries, and maintain guest relations to enhance their experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with the check-in process.
- Manage guest check-outs efficiently and accurately.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel management software.
- Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the resort’s services and amenities.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain an organized front desk area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provide information on local attractions, dining options, and activities to enhance guests' stay.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while interacting with guests over the phone.
Experience
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- A background in hotel management or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
