Join us at Huntington Learning Center! We are looking for talented professionals that will help students in grades K-12 achieve self-confidence, motivation, and academic success. Currently, we are looking for passionate tutors who have the skills to support our exceptional learners, these tutors will help our students learn all the skills they need to be successful in the classroom. Our programs support students with learning and refining their verbal and math skills, engaging in their education, reaching their goal test scores, and moving to the front of the class academically.
This is a remote position and you will work one-on-one with students virtually. After a paid training period to learn our methods, you will spend your time teaching and making a difference in children’s lives. We provide the curriculum and develop individualized programs for each student. There is no homework to correct, no lessons to plan, no meetings with parents or administration - just teaching!

The Opportunity:
- Work with students virtually in a 1-to-1 setting, leveraging Zoom and our proprietary learning platform.
- Focus on the development of math and verbal skills, classroom skill development, homework help, subject tutoring, and standardized test prep (ACT/SAT).

Hours:
- Summer Schedule: June through August. School Schedule starts at the end of August.
- Summer Hours: Monday through Sunday: 8:00 AM CT to 8:00 PM CT (Central Time).
- School Hours: Monday through Friday: 3:00 PM CT to 8:00 PM CT. Saturday and Sunday: 8:00 AM CT to 8:00 PM CT (Central Time).
- Minimum commitment of 10 hours; more hours available.
Requirements Include:
- 4-year degree required. Certification/license in Special Education a plus.
- Tutors must be able to teach age appropriate math through Algebra I & II and/or Geometry.
- Comfortable teaching English/Reading/Writing and coaching other subjects.
- Confident utilizing virtual teaching platforms (e.g. Zoom).
- Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students!
Hiring Timeline:
- Applicants will be reviewed as they apply and the first round of applicants will be interviewed starting August 11th. Final hiring decisions are made after all qualified applicants are interviewed. Expect to hear back a week post-interview.
