Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive outstanding service. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper presentation.
- Assist with sanitizing tables, utensils, and other dining areas to maintain cleanliness.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments.
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling practices at all times.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous for efficient order processing.
- Basic math skills are essential for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
