TX Sauna Co. designs and builds custom saunas and wellness spaces with a focus on craftsmanship, clean design, and high-end client experience. We’re looking for a Lead Carpenter / Project Manager to act as the right hand to the owner — someone who can lead builds, manage crews, and own projects from start to finish.
Position Overview
This is a hybrid role combining hands-on carpentry and project management. You will be responsible for leading job sites, managing installs, coordinating materials, and ensuring every project meets our standard.
The goal: take execution off the owner’s plate so the business can grow.
Key Responsibilities
Job Site Leadership
- Assist all sauna builds, installs, and finish work
- Run the crew on-site and set the daily pace
- Ensure clean, organized, professional job sites
- Maintain high-quality craftsmanship standards
Project Management
- Manage projects from start to finish
- Coordinate schedules, materials, and deliveries
- Communicate with clients professionally on-site
- Troubleshoot issues and keep projects moving
Carpentry & Build Work
- Framing, trim, finish carpentry
- Sauna construction (benches, paneling, heaters, etc.)
- Decking, light structures, and outdoor builds (as needed)
- Confident use of all power tools
Logistics
- Drive truck + trailer to transport materials and builds
- Load/unload materials and prep for jobs
- Maintain tools and equipment
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of carpentry or construction experience
- Strong leadership — can run a crew without supervision
- Detail-oriented with pride in clean, high-end work
- Problem solver who figures things out without constant direction
- Comfortable talking with clients on-site
- Experience with trailers, deliveries, and job logistics
- Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
Bonus Experience (Not Required)
- Sauna or specialty build experience
- Electrical or mechanical familiarity
- Deck building / outdoor living projects
- Small team leadership or foreman experience
