Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year in a district near Blacksburg, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development through assessments, interventions, and collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff. This is a full-time contract role (37.5 hours per week) for the full academic year.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and emotional needs.

Develop and implement intervention plans to support student success.

Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.

Promote a positive school climate and support mental health initiatives.

Assist in the development and implementation of behavior management strategies.

Stay current with best practices in school psychology and educational policies.
Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program (New graduate school psychologists will be considered and are encouraged to apply.)

Valid South Carolina certification/licensure as a School Psychologist

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work with diverse student populations.
