Willis Knighton Cancer Center is seeking a full-time radiation therapist. The job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, operating Varian Linacs equipment with both OBI and CBCT; performing HD Tomotherapy, HDR and CT simulation. Educationally, the applicant must be a Registered Radiation Therapist with ARRT and hold a license in Radiation Therapy by the LSRTBE.
This progressive department includes 4 physicians, 3 full-time physicists, 3 physics residents, and 2 dosimetrists. Equipment in the center includes 2 Varian 21-EX linacs with OBI and CBCT, the nation’s 4th Tomo HD unit, HDR with Nucletron afterloader, Philips Big Bore CT, Nucletron fluoro-simulator, Mosaiq Record and Verify, Pinnacle treatment planning for photons, CMS treatment planning for protons, and frequent Y-90 cases.
