POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Sealcoat Foreman to lead and oversee asphalt sealcoating crews for our civil construction projects. This role is responsible for managing daily operations in the field, ensuring high-quality workmanship, maintaining safety standards, and keeping projects on schedule and within scope. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and hands-on experience in sealcoating and asphalt maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead sealcoating crew members on job sites
- Plan, organize, and execute daily work schedules
- Ensure proper application of sealcoat, striping, crack sealing, and related services
- Operate and oversee the use of sealcoating equipment and tools
- Monitor job quality to meet company and client standards
- Enforce safety policies and procedures at all times
- Train and mentor crew members
- Coordinate with project managers and office staff on scheduling and job progress
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper care and storage
- Complete daily reports, time tracking, and job documentation
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sealcoating, asphalt maintenance, or related field
- Prior leadership or foreman experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of sealcoating materials, equipment, and application techniques
- Ability to read and follow project plans and specifications
- Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and efficiency
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on job sites for extended periods
- Comfortable working in hot and physically demanding environments

Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
