Hybrid Physical Therapy Assistant- Blended In Office & Remote Telehealth | Year 1 Grads Welcome!
Blended position with In Office treatment days in our our Costa Mesa clinic | along with Remote Telehealth treatment days from home.
Looking for a dependable, patient-focused Physical Therapist Assistant to join our growing physical therapy team.
This is a hybrid position consisting of some treatment days in clinic at our Costa Mesa office and some days providing remote telehealth care from home.
We are a multidisciplinary healthcare practice with an established patient population and a consistent flow of patients. This role is ideal for a PTA who enjoys staying active, managing a steady caseload, working in a fast-paced environment, and collaborating closely with a clinical team.
You will work alongside physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and a responsive administrative team. We provide established systems, consistent patient volume, and opportunities to grow as our physical therapy department expands.
The Role:
In-Office Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on physical therapy treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercise, functional activities, neuromuscular reeducation, and other prescribed interventions
- Monitor patient response and communicate changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary clinical team
- Manage a consistent caseload while maintaining a high standard of care
Remote Telehealth Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatment through a secure telehealth platform
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, mobility activities, and home exercise programs
- Reinforce the established plan of care and patient education
- Monitor patient progress and report relevant findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely documentation
- Communicate professionally with patients and the remote support team

Requirements
- Active California Physical Therapist Assistant license
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work on-site in Costa Mesa three days per week
- Ability to provide remote care from a private, professional workspace two days per week
- Reliable internet connection and comfort using telehealth technology

Pay: $56,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
