Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and cakes following established recipes with precision and creativity
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
- Package food items attractively for retail or catering purposes while maintaining food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure hygiene and safety regulations are consistently met
- Assist in food handling and preparation for large-scale production or catering events
- Support the team in adhering to recipe specifications and quality standards during food assembly
- Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues and providing excellent customer service when needed
Experience
- Proven experience in food production, baking, or pastry preparation within a high-volume setting
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in cake decorating techniques
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and proper handling procedures
- Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and refrigeration units
- Background in catering or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in baked goods and culinary creations
- Previous roles involving food industry standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance
