Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems to process sales accurately and swiftly
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, utensils, and dining areas regularly
- Assist with food safety procedures, proper food handling, and adhering to health regulations
- Support other team members with bussing tables, food prep, or stocking supplies during slow periods
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, including quick service or fast-food restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
