The Role:
You will be the vital link between our innovative robotic solutions and our diverse customer base. Working primarily from our office location, Toborlife AI, 1088 Independence Ave suite B, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
You will manage the entire Business Development cycle, focusing on educating, inspiring, and closing deals while delivering an unparalleled customer experience. We provide warm leads in the form of calls or email esquires generated from our robust marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pioneer Sales & Pipeline Building:
- Proactively engage with inbound leads and execute strategic outbound efforts (calls, emails, social outreach) to identify and qualify new sales opportunities for both consumer and business applications.
- Creatively articulate the value proposition of our unique robotic solutions to a diverse audience.
- Manage and meticulously nurture your sales pipeline from initial contact through successful close.
- Elevated Customer Experience:
- Be the knowledgeable and friendly voice of our company, providing accurate product information, answering inquiries, and guiding customers through their purchasing journey.
- Cultivate genuine relationships by truly understanding customer needs and skillfully recommending the perfect robotic solution for their specific challenges or desires.
- Handle objections and concerns with empathy, intelligence, and a persistent drive for customer satisfaction.
- Fanatical Follow-Up & Retention:
- Maintain an impeccable follow-up cadence, ensuring no lead is left behind and every customer feels valued and supported.
- Proactively engage with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for repeat business, upgrades, or referrals.
- Keep our CRM (we're building our processes as we go!) meticulously updated with all customer interactions and sales activities.
- Rapid Learning & Product Mastery:
- Quickly become an expert on our innovative robotic solutions, understanding their features, benefits, and diverse applications for both the individual and the enterprise.
- Actively contribute to our collective knowledge base by sharing insights from customer interactions and market feedback.
- Stay agile and adaptable as our product line and company evolve.
- Startup Collaboration & Impact:
- Work closely with founders and early team members across marketing, product, and operations, providing crucial feedback that will directly shape our product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Contribute to building out our sales processes and best practices from the ground up.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: 1-3 years of experience in an business development or customer-facing role, with a demonstrated history of achieving goals. Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a huge plus.
- Customer Obsession: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and building strong, lasting relationships.
- Communication Powerhouse: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; you can explain complex ideas simply and persuade effectively.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented: Your follow-up game is strong, and you manage your pipeline with precision.
- Self-Starter & Resilient: You're comfortable with ambiguity, thrive on challenges, and possess a strong inner drive to succeed.
- Tech-Savvy & Curious: A real interest in and aptitude for understanding new technology, especially robotics. You're eager to learn!
- Language Proficiency: Ability to speak Mandarin is a plus
- Proficiency with CRM tools (we'll adapt to what works best as we grow!) and standard office software.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
