Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Weekend Houseman to join our hospitality team. In this vital role, you will assist the housekeeping team with various parts of the operation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-standard hospitality experience while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. Weekend availability is a must, with potential to pick up other shifts during the week if desired.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive floor and carpet cleaning using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Removing linen and trash from guest rooms.
- Re-supplying housekeeping carts with needed linen during their shift
- Handle cleaning tasks across various areas, including guest rooms, hallways, public spaces, and service areas, ensuring high standards of sanitation.
- Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures, including sanitation protocols and emergency procedures, to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Provide friendly customer service by addressing guest inquiries related to housekeeping services or facility concerns promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
- Working knowledge of cleaning equipment such as vacuum and carpet cleaners.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and floor cleaning methods is beneficial.
- Demonstrated ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, with a focus on safety.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guest interactions.
