Compensation: $22.52 - $30.97 / hour
Hours: 1st Shift - Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
2nd Shift - Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 12:00 PM

Reports To: Quality Manager
The NDT Specialist I is responsible for setting up and processing various components using fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) and/or magnetic particle inspection (MPI). This hands-on role supports quality assurance efforts and operates under the supervision of Level III certified personnel. The individual will work within clean room environments and assist in calibration tasks, documentation, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Set up and perform FPI and/or MPI processes on components
Ensure compliance with applicable specifications, calibrations, and daily requirements
Perform cleaning operations within a class 10K clean room
Maintain gage calibration records and coordinate with internal and external services
Organize and track daily requirements for quality and compliance
Document in-process inspections and collaborate with the inspection team
Assist with analysis of quality data and propose process improvements as needed
Support product launches, process improvements, and efficient resource utilization
Maintain inspection areas and ensure cleanliness and order
Perform “super clean” duties and other assigned quality-related functions
Participate in ongoing training as required
May require 5–10% domestic travel
Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by applicable federal regulations (ITAR-compliant)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level
Capable of interpreting operational sheets and technical instructions
Willingness to cross-train into other roles as needed
Prior experience in an NDT or manufacturing environment
Exposure to aerospace or high-precision component inspection practices
Familiarity with ISO or AS quality standards and calibration procedures
Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 lbs
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Visual acuity sufficient to read dials, gages, work instructions, and precision instruments
