Duties
- Greet guests warmly with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive
- Foster a positive, enjoyable guest experience through attentive service, addressing special requests or concerns promptly
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Keep clear communication with kitchen staff, management and bartenders
- Serve food and drinks efficiently with high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales, utilizing personal recommendations and suggestive selling techniques
- Handle transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and sales transaction recording with POS systems
- Adhere to Food Safety guidelines by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
Skills
- Experience in food service and restaurant environments
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly, comforting, and professionally
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables while maintaining high-quality service standards
- Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation and cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety and compliance
