Our Special Needs Summer Camp program is a seasonal program that runs from June 4th to August 25th from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Our camp staff provides supports to youth with developmental disabilities and emotional-behavioral issues. Camp staff provides supervision, fun and role modeling for campers through providing recreational and social skills during camp hours. Transporting clients in your own car may be required. This position will offer you a great deal of experience while having fun during the summer with a great bunch of kids.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 year of experience providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities, emotional behavioral concerns, and mental health.
- Experience of working in large group settings, assisting with outdoor activities to promote independence and increase social recreational skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Ohio driver license with less than six points
- Valid Automobile Insurance
- Valid First Aid and CPR
