Workforce Enterprises is currently doing a massive hiring for stand-up reach drivers for the Irving Area.
Duties
- Operate CROWN STAND -UP REACH, to load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Safely transport products throughout the warehouse, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
- Utilize cranes when necessary for heavy lifting tasks, following all safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts and cranes.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to build effective working relationships within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- A valid forklift operator certification is required; additional certifications for clamp trucks or other equipment are a plus.
- Must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as needed during operations.
