Work Location: Weirton, WV
Work Schedule: Part-time (up to 28 hours/weekly)
This position is responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:

Operates automatic baler machine that loads and fluffs clothes to secure solid bales of clothing with wire.
- Operates forklift to transport bail to storage truck.
- Reads meters to verify weights of bales.
- Examines metal detector and wrapping mechanism for defects.
- Unloads trucks of donated items that are delivered to the warehouse daily.
- Recycles and keeps cardboard boxes organized for use with the baler machine.
- Stores shoes in storage areas.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

Physical ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull objects (up to 50 lbs.).

Moderate mobility duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, and walking on a frequent change basis.

Work is performed in a warehouse environment where there are physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

Education and Experience:
-
High school diploma or G.E.D.; and two (2) years of experience in sorting, receiving, storing, loading, and unloading of materials in a warehouse or store setting; OR
-
any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Licenses and Certifications:

Valid State Driver's License.
