The Certified Dietary Manager directs all activities of the Culinary Service Department and dining room. They are responsible for the quality of meals served, quality of service delivery during meal service, control of Dietary Department expenses, and for compliance with special diets offered by the community, as well as scheduling and management of the Dietary staff.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Dietary Manager Certification required
- Three years of experience in food service preparation and managing staff.
- Computer skills include Word, Excel, Outlook, and order processing.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public, cheerfully and with enthusiasm.
- Must meet employment requirements, including TB, criminal background check.
