Purpose of Position To provide administrative support to the Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP) in its mission to effectively deliver programs and services that help students aspiring to become physicians acquire the knowledge and skills needed to be successful in their applications to medical school. Essential Functions
Application Processing & Applicant Outreach: Process JAMP applications, verify applicant eligibility, track application status, maintain applicant records, respond to applicant inquiries, and assist with the JAMP prospective applicant calling campaign.
Student & Administrative Support: Maintain the JAMP Portal and student records, respond to inquiries from prospective applicants and current scholars, and assist with recruitment, events, and general program operations.
Records Management: Maintain accurate electronic records, perform data entry, verify information, and ensure confidentiality of student records.
Communication & Program Support: Monitor the JAMP inbox, update website content in Modern Campus, assist with program communications, and prepare informational materials.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience providing excellent customer service and ensuring stakeholder needs and inquiries are addressed promptly and professionally.

Excellent teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and one year of secretarial or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience that demonstrates the knowledge and skills required for the position.
One year of college (30 semester hours) may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Preferred Qualifications
Some college coursework.
Prior experience working with students or in an admissions office.
Proven organizational and time-management skills.
Prior experience working with sensitive student records.
Proven ability to meet deadlines. Working Conditions
