As a Locum NP or PA, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality surgical care to patients. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring that all surgical protocols are followed and that patient safety remains a top priority. - Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care to patients

Assist in surgical procedures and ensure proper patient management

Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare team members

Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and recovery

Monitor patient progress and document findings accurately

Respond to patient inquiries and provide support throughout their surgical journey

Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the surgical department
- Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant license

Experience in cardiothoracic surgery or a related surgical field preferred

Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills

Schedule: 24-hour shifts with night call
Daily Volume: 6-18 patients
Procedures: Complex cardiothoracic surgical, perioperative and post-operative care, and advanced surgical techniques

Full team of support staff
Must be board-certified
