Foundations Health & Wholeness is hiring a Grants and Communications Manager. The position supports the organization’s communications, fundraising/funding and community engagement efforts. The Grants and Communications Manager is responsible for the execution of marketing communications including social media, grant writing and storytelling strategies for the organization and collaborates with each program to develop content for all marketing materials to increase awareness and funding.
Duties of the position include:
- Identify and collect information, collaborating with staff as needed for grant applications
- Write grant applications and reports for the continued funding of programs
- Execute outreach and recruitment plans in collaboration with programs
- Work in collaboration with programs to create stories and other written content for social media, outreach and recruiting collateral and other content
- Create communications materials for mission, including print materials, electronic newsletter, website, social media and all other platforms
- Produce, schedule and monitor social media content
- Create regular communications to increase awareness of the mission and programs, needs of the organization and engagement with general public, potential/current clients and supporters
Ideal candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Professional experience in grant writing and various forms of communications
- Possess excellent writing and editing skills
- Ability to tell and write stories for a variety of purposes including grant applications, reports, press releases, newsletters, and other publications in a compelling way that advocates for Foundations; mission and programs
- Ability to collaborate with Director to develop fundraising strategies and carry out that strategy, particularly in the areas of grants and other storytelling tasks
- Experience in the design and creation of print pieces and social medial materials
- High attention to details
- Ability to communicate with a variety of people to gather information and needs
- Ability to organize own workload, manage time and deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to work well with many different levels/organizations to achieve a common goal
