Chatham Academy High School is seeking a Certified Type 9 Teacher who will support, observe and record the progress of their class. They also plan lessons in line with set curriculum, with the aim of ensuring a healthy culture of learning.
A secondary school teacher must keep up to date with developments in their subject area, new resources, methods and national objectives. The role involves liaising and networking with other professionals, parents and carers, both informally and formally.
Qualifications:
Type 9 Certification is required. In addition, applicant must have an aptitude for the work to be performed and a deep interest in the children we serve and education we deliver within an alternative school setting and learning environment. Applicant must display an emotional maturity and stability necessary for the specialized work involved.

Vice Principal, Lead Instructor

- To assist, support, and work closely with students, administrators, and other team members in providing educational benefit for students.
- Devising special strategies for reinforcing learning materials and skills based on a sympathetic understanding of individual students, their needs, interests, and abilities.
- Promote high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance and responsibility for behavior.
