Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas following established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities to ensure guest comfort
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain pristine surfaces
- Conduct routine inspections of rooms and common areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, stairwells, and other shared spaces in accordance with hotel policies
- Use janitorial and industrial cleaning equipment efficiently and safely to achieve optimal results
- Assist with inventory management by restocking cleaning supplies and reporting supply needs promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and waxing
- Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards for guest service excellence
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles is a plus but not required
