About the Role
We are a leading regional exterior contractor seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee residential exterior replacement projects, including roofing, siding, windows, gutters, and doors.
In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of our production division—managing installation crews, coordinating material logistics, ensuring job-site safety and quality control, and maintaining clear communication between sales, suppliers, and homeowners. Key Responsibilities
- Crew & Operations Management: Schedule, dispatch, and manage daily operations for installation crews across multiple job sites.
- Supply & Logistics: Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and specialized equipment needs with suppliers to ensure total job readiness before work begins.
- Quality Control & Field Supervision: Monitor job progress on-site, enforce company quality standards, resolve field issues promptly, and manage post-installation punch lists and warranty work.
- Schedule & Budget Tracking: Track project timelines, monitor job costs, and maintain accurate documentation and milestones within company software.
- Subcontractor Onboarding: Actively source, vet, and onboard qualified installation crews to maintain optimal field capacity.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with office management and sales teams to streamline workflows and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Exterior Construction Experience: Direct experience managing residential exterior construction projects (roofing, siding, gutters, windows, or doors).
- Leadership & Crew Management: Proven track record of managing, holding accountable, and building strong relationships with sub-contracted installation crews.
- Organizational Skills: Strong ability to multi-task, manage complex schedules, track job costs, and keep digital project records up to date.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Calmer under pressure with a proactive approach to resolving field conflicts or material delays.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with homeowners, suppliers, and internal leadership.
- Availability: Must be able to work Monday through Friday during core business hours, with flexibility for on-call duties on weekends during peak seasons.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM + On-Call as needed) | Saturday–Sunday (On-Call as needed)

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
