With a growing franchise network across the U.S. and Canada, we are entering our next phase of expansion. We are seeking a driven, strategic, and results-oriented Director of Franchise Development to lead our franchise growth efforts and help us scale with the right partners.
The Director of Franchise Development will be responsible for leading and executing Garage Living’s franchise sales strategy. This role will oversee the full development lifecycle—from lead generation and qualification through discovery days, validation, and closing.
We are not looking for a transactional salesperson. We are looking for a relationship-driven leader who understands that awarding a franchise is about long-term fit, alignment, and brand stewardship.

Key ResponsibilitiesFranchise Sales & Growth
- Develop and execute the annual franchise development strategy
- Manage the franchise sales pipeline from lead to close
- Conduct candidate interviews, qualification calls, and presentations
- Lead Discovery Day experiences
- Guide candidates through due diligence and validation
- Drive franchise agreement signings to meet annual growth targets
Lead Generation & Marketing Alignment
- Partner with marketing to optimize lead flow, conversion rates, and cost per acquisition
- Manage relationships with franchise portals and broker networks
- Evaluate ROI across channels and adjust strategy accordingly
Process & Performance
- Maintain CRM discipline and reporting accuracy
- Track KPIs including lead conversion, sales cycle length, and close rates
- Refine and improve franchise development systems and messaging
- Ensure compliance with FDD regulations and franchise sales laws
Brand Stewardship
- Protect the integrity of the Garage Living brand by selecting high-quality operators
- Assess financial qualifications and cultural alignment
- Maintain a premium, professional candidate experience
Qualifications
- 5+ years of franchise development or franchise sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding franchise sales targets
- Strong understanding of the franchise development lifecycle
- Experience working with franchise brokers and a strong, established network
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- High emotional intelligence and strong business acumen
- Ability to travel for Discovery Days and industry events
Preferred:
- Experience in home services, home improvement, or B2C brands
- Experience scaling an emerging or mid-market franchise system
- Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian franchise regulations
