The Material Specialist I is responsible for multiple functions in a cGMP warehouse at Coating Place, Inc. Typical responsibilities will include receiving, staging, material movement, and shipping of lot tracked materials used in Pharmaceuticals, Dietary Supplements, and Food Ingredients. Additional duties will include monthly cycle counts, inventory transactions in ERP software that require proficient computer skills, sanitation (cleaning), use of equipment such as as forklifts, pallet jacks, and pallet inverters. Procedures and documentation requiring strong attention to detail.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience operating material handling equipment (pallet jack, pallet exchanger, drum dollies, etc.)
Strong attention to detail for inspection of materials and accurate documentation.
Ability to bend/squat to view or pick up items at waist level or below.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 55 lbs. and move objects weighing up to 220 lbs.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work with desktop computers and software, business systems, and support peripherals.
Ability to read, write (legibly), and speak the English language at a level necessary for efficient job performance.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and/or clients.
