We're seeking someone who will own a portfolio of bankruptcy matters, partner with local counsel, and manage cases from intake through completion while ensuring compliance with client and court deadlines.

What You'll Do

Assist local counsel in the legal filing for their portfolio of Chapter 7, 11, 12, and 13 bankruptcy cases.

Coordinate with local counsel on motions for relief, objections, agreed orders, and other legal actions.

Monitor court dockets and case activity to identify required actions.

Maintain assigned files and ensure deadlines and client expectations are met.

Communicate with courts, trustees, attorneys, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues and obtain necessary information.

Review and process bankruptcy-related correspondence, notices, and case documentation.

Provide outstanding service to clients and internal stakeholders.

Ability to independently manage a portfolio from start to finish while consistently meeting deadlines and client expectations.

Extreme attention to detail since even minor errors can have significant legal and compliance impacts.

Strong sense of ownership and accountability over assigned files and outcomes.

Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Proactive communicator who identifies potential issues early and works collaboratively to resolve them.

Comfortable making sound decisions, researching issues, and following through without constant direction.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.

1–3 years of bankruptcy, mortgage servicing, accounting, or related experience.

Experience managing a high-volume caseload preferred.

Working knowledge of bankruptcy processes is required; suspense, escrow, mortgage concepts preferred.
