Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Packer & Shipper to help fulfill orders from our live Whatnot streams. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately sorting, packing, and preparing trading card orders for shipment while maintaining the high level of care and customer experience our buyers expect.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys organized, hands-on work and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency. As our business continues to grow, this role has the potential to expand into additional responsibilities and increased hours.
Responsibilities
- Sort and organize trading cards and collectibles according to order information provided after each live stream.
- Carefully sleeve, top-load, team bag, and package items using established packing procedures to ensure they arrive safely and professionally.
- Match orders to pre-printed shipping labels with a high degree of accuracy.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including bubble mailers, boxes, and protective packaging when appropriate.
- Perform quality checks to ensure each customer receives the correct items and quantities before packages are sealed.
- Assist with organizing inventory, packing supplies, and shipping materials to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following established procedures and standards.
- Communicate promptly regarding questions, discrepancies, damaged items, or fulfillment concerns.
- Meet fulfillment deadlines to ensure orders are shipped within required Whatnot timeframes.
- Help identify opportunities to improve packing efficiency and streamline operations as order volume grows.
Qualifications
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to follow written procedures and work independently once trained.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and occasionally lift packages weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Previous experience in shipping, fulfillment, e-commerce, retail, or warehouse environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with trading cards or collectibles is a plus, but not necessary.
