Ocean Blue Express, Inc. is seeking an Import Freight Forwarder to manage international air and ocean import shipments. This office-based position coordinates the import process from origin through final delivery in the United States, including arrival scheduling, documentation, compliance, customer communication, and issue resolution.
Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply. Candidates with hands-on import freight forwarding experience are strongly preferred.
* Important: This is an international air and ocean import freight forwarding position. It is not a warehouse operations, receiving, inventory control, picking, or packing role.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage import shipments from overseas origin through final delivery in the United States.
· Prepare and review arrival notices, delivery orders, and other import-related documentation.
· Process import transactions in the company’s freight forwarding system and track shipment arrival, customs clearance, and delivery status.
· Coordinate with airlines, ocean carriers, customs brokers, trucking companies, overseas agents, and internal departments to manage arrival schedules, customs clearance, and delivery.
· Provide customer service and account support, including rate information, service coordination, shipment status updates, issue reporting, and problem resolution.
· Maintain accurate and timely shipment records while following applicable procedures and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
· Entry-level candidates are welcome; prior import freight forwarding experience is preferred.
· Relevant coursework, training, or internship experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international transportation is a plus.
· Basic knowledge of air and ocean import processes, documentation, and compliance requirements is preferred.
· Strong customer-service mindset and professional communication skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks, handle documentation accurately, and resolve problems effectively.
· Ability to communicate effectively in both Korean and English in a business environment.
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. The company does not provide employment visa or permanent-residency sponsorship.
* Please note: Experience limited to warehouse-floor operations is not considered international freight forwarding experience.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
