Requirements for the Medical Assistant Trainee Position:
- Minimum to no experience in the field
- Speak, read, and write English
- Be able to pass a background check and drug test
- Provide Valid Right to Work Documents- (California ID or Driver's License, and SSC, DACA, or Work Permit)
- Education Level less than 20 college credits
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Applicants for the Medical Assistant Trainee Position must meet the minimum age of 18 due to legal and/or operational requirements associated with this role
Schedule:
- 20- weeks, Monday-Friday from 8:30am-4:30pm, in-person at Hope Builders Anaheim
- Plus 160-hour externship placement at a Medical Facility in Orange County
Learn:
- How to Measure vital signs
- Assist physicians with procedures
- Give injections
- Collect and process lab specimens
- Use Electronic Health Record
