Job Overview
1099 independent contractor. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN CLEANING SUPPLIES. We are seeking experienced, hardworking cleaners who know what it means to put in a real days work. This is not a casual dusting job, this is hands-on, fast paced, physical demanding cleaning that requires focus, stamina, and pride in work. MUST HAVE YOUR OWN CLEANING SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in your work, we want to hear from you! . Must have your own vehicle that you don't share and able to PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK.
Responsibilities
- Execute detailed cleaning tasks promptly and professionally of residential homes, offices, hotels, or commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Handle specialized cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met
- Manage laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and uniforms as needed
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in kitchens by sanitizing countertops, appliances, and cooking areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests promptly and professionally
- Follow safety protocols and use proper janitorial equipment to prevent accidents and ensure efficient cleaning processes
- Keep detailed records of completed tasks and report any maintenance or repair needs to management
Requirements
- Proven experience in custodial work, residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care (waxing and polishing), and sanitation practices
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, standing for extended periods and moving heavy equipment when necessary
- Familiarity with janitorial supplies and equipment; experience with laundry services is a plus
- Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping management is advantageous but not required
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old
