Under the guidance of Alum Rock Counseling Center’s (ARCC) Clinical Director, the Clinical Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our clinical team while helping ensure high-quality, culturally responsive behavioral health services for the children, youth, and families we serve.
This position provides clinical supervision to a diverse team of MSW, MFT, and PCC Associates and Trainees across multiple programs, offering an exciting opportunity to work with a wide range of clinical needs and settings. Programs include Outpatient (OP), School-Based Outpatient, Early Childhood Mental Health Outpatient (ECMH), and our CSU programs, with additional opportunities to support emerging programs and initiatives.
At ARCC, you’ll work with a diverse population of children and youth ages 0–21, adolescents, and families, helping clinicians strengthen their skills while contributing directly to positive outcomes for the communities we serve.

We’re looking for a compassionate and collaborative clinical leader who enjoys mentoring others, is committed to high-quality care, and brings strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:

Current California LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license with at least two years post-licensure experience and completion of the BBS-required 15 units for providing clinical supervision.

Completion of the required continuing education hours in supervision through a state agency or approved continuing education provider.

Strong understanding of clinical documentation, diagnosis, clinical terminology, and evidence-based practices.

Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to timely review, feedback, correction, and approval of Medi-Cal documentation.

Strong knowledge and application of California laws and ethical standards applicable to MSWs, MFTs, and PCCs.

Excellent verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently while also being a positive and collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team.

Valid California driver’s license, reliable automobile for agency travel, and current auto insurance.

Ability to complete required DOJ fingerprinting/background check and TB clearance.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
Experience We Value:

Two or more years of clinical supervision experience.
-
Three or more years of clinical experience working with children, youth, and families, preferably in a community-based setting.

Experience working in a Medi-Cal environment and familiarity with Medi-Cal documentation requirements.

Experience supervising and implementing evidence-based practices such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Strategic Family Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, including maintaining fidelity to each modality.

Experience working with culturally diverse, high-risk, and/or low-income families.

Experience providing individual, group, family, and collateral services, including parent support.

Experience working with children and youth ages 0–21 and their families.

Experience collaborating across systems such as Probation, Department of Family and Children’s Services (DFCS), and Education.

Experience participating in or leading crisis intervention efforts.

Strong knowledge and practice of Trauma-Informed Care.

Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, but not required.
