About the Role
As a Physical Therapist, you’ll provide evaluations, treatment planning, and rehabilitation services to residents within our Assisted Living community. Your work will directly improve mobility, confidence, safety, and independence—helping residents continue living comfortably in the place they call home.
You’ll work with a diverse geriatric population and collaborate closely with caregivers, nursing staff, families, and fellow therapy team members to create personalized treatment plans that truly enhance quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations in accordance with APTA and state standards
- Develop individualized treatment plans with realistic, patient-centered goals
- Provide skilled therapy interventions focused on strength, balance, mobility, safety, and functional independence
- Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on mobility strategies and fall prevention
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure exceptional resident care
- Help create a warm, positive, and encouraging therapy environment

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current North Carolina Physical Therapy license in good standing
- Experience with geriatric, dementia, or Alzheimer’s populations preferred but not required
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping residents improve quality of life and maintain independence

Pay: $74,000.00 - $101,155.00 per year
