Treatment Coordinator
Spring Children’s Dentistry – Spring, Texas
Spring Children’s Dentistry is looking for an experienced, friendly, and motivated Treatment Coordinator to join our growing pediatric dental team.
The Treatment Coordinator plays an important role in helping families understand their child’s recommended treatment, insurance benefits, financial options, and next steps. The ideal candidate is confident discussing treatment and finances, communicates clearly with parents, and provides excellent follow-up from the initial consultation through completion of care.
Responsibilities
- Review treatment plans with parents and caregivers in a clear and compassionate manner
- Explain insurance benefits, estimated patient portions, and available payment options
- Help families schedule recommended treatment promptly
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment and maintain an organized follow-up system
- Verify insurance information and help resolve benefit or coverage questions
- Coordinate appointments with the clinical and front-office teams
- Maintain accurate notes and documentation in the patient’s record
- Build trust with families and provide an excellent patient experience
- Assist with presenting treatment for restorative dentistry, sedation, hospital dentistry, and other recommended services
- Help the practice meet scheduling, case acceptance, and patient-care goals
Qualifications
- Dental office experience is strongly preferred
- Previous treatment coordinator or dental insurance experience is a plus
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial arrangements
- Organized, dependable, and able to follow through consistently
- Able to manage multiple patients and priorities in a busy pediatric dental office
- Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
- Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus
