Position Summary:
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations across multiple facilities within the assigned region. This role ensures that all equipment, systems, and facilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, functionality, and compliance. The Maintenance Manager will lead maintenance teams, implement preventative maintenance programs, and support large-scale repair or renovation projects. Equipment includes pickups, vacuum trucks, tractors, trailers, excavating, and material handling equipment. This position requires frequent travel within the assigned region (50–80%).
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs for all facilities in the region.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and certifications.
- Supervise, train, and support site-level maintenance teams, technicians, and contractors.
- Coordinate large-scale repairs and renovation projects as needed.
- Ensure adherence to DOT compliance and company safety protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of maintenance management experience, with at least 2 years in a regional or multi-site role preferred.
- Strong background in maintenance, DOT compliance, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with automated equipment, maintenance, and diagnostic software.
- Ability to work in harsh environments; prior experience is a plus.
- Flexibility to travel frequently (50–80%) and work evenings/weekends as needed.
- Pass a Pre-Employment DOT Physical, Drug Screen and Alcohol testing
- Pass a Pre-Employment Background Screening
- Pass the Company's Auto Insurance Qualifiers
- Pass the OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Able to read, write, and understand the English language, and able to follow verbal and written instructions
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work a rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
