About the Role
We are looking for a creative, reliable, and customer-focused Floral Designer to join our team! If you have a passion for flowers, a keen eye for design, and love bringing joy to customers, we’d love to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Creativity: Create beautiful floral arrangements and dish gardens tailored to everyday occasions, events, and holidays.
- Flower Care: Properly condition and care for fresh flowers to ensure maximum quality and longevity.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service in person and answer phones to assist with orders and inquiries.
- Shop Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment through daily shop housekeeping.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Reliable & Punctual: Consistent attendance and timeliness are essential.
- Schedule Flexibility: Must be available to work Saturdays and willing to work extended/late hours during major floral holidays (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc.).
- Strict Non-Smoking Policy: NO SMOKING OR VAPING on premises (non-negotiable).
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of flower varieties is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in floral design.
- Local knowledge of the Winchester / Frederick County area is a big plus!
Job Types: Part-time, Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
