We’re looking for a confident, compassionate Boarding Supervisor to lead our boarding team and ensure every dog in our care is safe, comfortable, and happy.
About the Role
As our Boarding Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily boarding operations while supporting and guiding staff on the floor. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll balance team development, dog safety, and operational excellence—all while helping create a positive, supportive workplace.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & Daily Operations
- Oversee all boarding areas including rooms, yards, kitchen, laundry, and bathing spaces
- Support safe dog introductions, group play, and behavior management
- Ensure smooth daily routines (feeding, meds, cleaning, enrichment, and room turnover)
- Monitor dog health, comfort, and behavior, making adjustments as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
Team Support & Training
- Lead and support boarding attendants throughout the day
- Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching in dog behavior and handling
- Help create and implement behavior management plans for dogs
- Foster a positive, respectful, and team-focused culture
Communication & Coordination
- Act as the bridge between boarding, front desk, and other departments
- Document notes, behaviors, and care updates accurately
- Handle and escalate client concerns when needed
- Participate in leadership meetings and team check-ins
Facility Care
- Ensure all boarding spaces are consistently clean and well-stocked
- Perform and delegate daily cleaning and deep cleaning tasks
- Support overall facility upkeep and organization
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of experience in dog daycare or boarding (leadership experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and safe handling practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to high-quality pet care
