We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior A/V Systems Technician to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about audio-visual technology and eager to build a career in the field. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of A/V equipment in various environments, ensuring high-quality experiences for all users.

Assist with the setup, configuration, and calibration of audio and video systems in offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, and event spaces.

Support the installation of projectors, screens, speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and other A/V hardware.

Monitor system performance and address technical issues in a timely manner.

Conduct routine maintenance and testing of A/V equipment to ensure optimal functionality.

Provide basic troubleshooting and user support, escalating complex issues as needed.

Maintain accurate records of equipment and service activities.

Follow best practices in safety and adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.

Collaborate effectively with senior technicians and other team members.

Continually develop skills and stay current with industry trends and technologies.

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Demonstrated interest in audio/visual technologies (internship, coursework, or personal projects).

Basic knowledge of A/V systems, cabling, and connections.

Understanding of common A/V equipment (projectors, amplifiers, microphones).

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between work sites as needed.

Associate degree or technical diploma in electronics, information technology, or related field.

0-1 years’ practical experience in A/V systems (such as internships or volunteer work).

Familiarity with AV-over-IP solutions and digital signage technologies.

Industry certifications (e.g., CTS, Extron, Crestron) are a plus.
