Position Overview
The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production and facility equipment to ensure optimal uptime and operational efficiency. This role supports mechanical and electrical systems and plays a key role in preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and facility equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems)
- Diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs or component replacements to minimize downtime
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM) programs, work orders, and routine inspections
- Support equipment installation, relocation, and upgrades
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Maintain inventory of parts and coordinate reordering as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly functioning tools
- Communicate equipment issues and improvement opportunities to leadership
- Support training and onboarding of new maintenance team members
- Participate in continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school training preferred
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of:
- Electrical systems (single & three-phase motors)
- Hydraulics and pneumatics
- Mechanical systems and general equipment repair
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and maintenance documentation
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook); CMMS experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Pay: $33.53 per hour
