Job Summary
We are hiring for an enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and reliable Budtender at our Adrian location.
This role is specifically for candidates who are available to work closing/night shifts (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM) Thursday through Sunday. Packaging shifts may also be available during these same days/times.
We are not hiring full-time at this time.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers, creating a warm and inviting environment.
- Deliver excellent customer service: answer questions, educate on products, assist with purchases, and resolve concerns professionally.
- Perform check-in and ID verification to ensure full compliance with Michigan state cannabis regulations.
- Operate the point-of-sale system for check-ins and sales transactions.
- Maintain strong product knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and their effects.
- Handle phone calls, fulfill online orders, and run curbside orders efficiently.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and communicating restocking needs.
- Uphold all security and compliance protocols; report any suspicious activity.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, inventory staff, and security to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional education in customer service, retail, or hospitality is a plus.
- Previous retail and cash handling experience is required.
- Prior experience in cannabis, customer service, retail, or hospitality is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of or genuine interest in cannabis products, culture, and industry trends; willingness to continue learning.
- Must have reliable transportation and consistent availability for closing shifts (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM) Thursday through Sunday.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Basic computer skills; experience with POS systems is a plus.
- Must pass a background check in accordance with Michigan state cannabis regulations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

- Schedule: Night/closing shifts Thursday–Sunday (3:30 PM – 11:30 PM). Occasional holiday coverage may be required.
- Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience ($15.00 – $16.00/hr).
- Tips: Earn cash tips daily and card tips bi-weekly.
