Build a Career Without Waiting Years for an Opportunity
Keep Austin Mowed is looking for one ambitious, dependable person who wants more than a temporary landscaping job.
You do not need a college degree, high-school diploma, or years of landscaping experience. We care more about your work ethic, reliability, coachability, and willingness to take responsibility.
This position has a clear path from entry-level technician to crew leader. You will not have to wait years for the opportunity to earn more. The faster you prove that you can produce quality work, operate independently, and lead others, the faster you can move up.
Attitude Is Everything
We can teach you how to mow, operate equipment, complete landscaping projects, and lead a crew.
We cannot teach you to care.
The right person will come to work ready to learn, accept feedback, maintain a strong pace, and take pride in completing the job correctly.
Experience is helpful, but attitude is everything. We would rather hire someone inexperienced who is hungry to learn than someone experienced who is unreliable, negative, or unwilling to improve.
Mistakes will happen. What matters is whether you take responsibility, learn from them, and improve.
Clear Path to Higher Pay
You will begin as a technician earning approximately $20–$23 per hour, depending on your experience and performance during the paid working interview.
Raises are based on what you can prove you can handle—not simply how long you have worked here.
Technician in Training — $20–$23 per Hour
Learn our mowing standards, equipment procedures, property checklists, and expectations.
Independent Technician — Increased Pay
Earn more once you can consistently complete properties correctly, efficiently, and without repeated supervision.
Route Leader — Additional Pay and Responsibility
Take responsibility for a route, schedule, truck, trailer, equipment, and final quality inspections.
Crew Leader — Approximately $24–$28 per Hour
Lead another employee, manage daily production, communicate with customers, train new technicians, and make sure every property meets company standards.
Future Operations Leadership
As the company grows, there may be opportunities to help manage crews, train employees, coordinate routes, and oversee daily operations.
There is no guaranteed timeline for advancement. Employees who become dependable, skilled, and capable of leading independently will move up faster.
