A Licensed Registered Nurse with at least ten years year of postgraduate relevant case management experience in several practice areas is required for this position. Case Management, Psychiatric, and Rehabilitation experience are preferred. BSN or higher is preferred because this position has a considerable writing requirement. This job can be Full-Time, Part-time, or Per Diem. However, Per Diem does require consistent availability and accountability to the client and other team members. The RN Advocate reports to the office once a week for meetings, working from home, and supporting clients at medical appointments and in the community outside of meetings. This job has some flexibility to work around your schedule as long as deadlines are met.
Computer skills and resources:
Ability to use a variety of electronic information applications/software programs, electronic medical records experience
Intermediate to Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, excellent keyboard and web navigation skills
High-speed internet connectivity (DSL or cable modem; recommended speed is 10Mx1M for optimal performance)
Additional requirements: Valid driver’s license, car
This position requires No hands-on care, and schedules are somewhat flexible; most work is Monday-Friday. Generally, 8:30 am-5 pm. Salary is competitive and based on experience. Seeking computer-friendly. Some management or supervisory experience is a plus. A great team environment and collaborative work with a great culture.
