Cass Human Service Zone is hiring an Accounting Budget Specialist in Fargo, North Dakota
Cass Human Service Zone is seeking a dedicated and passionate Accounting Budget Specialist to manage accounting procedures to complete Zone budget, payroll, invoice management and payment functions. The Accounting Budget Specialist also makes recommendations to the Director on budgetary issues.
Accounting Budget Specialist duties include but are not limited to:
- Providing comprehensive accounting, budget, and financial support for the Zone by managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting with budget administration, preparing recurring financial reports, and delivering technical and accounting assistance to ensure accurate and efficient fiscal operations;

Processing purchase orders and travel reimbursements, and maintaining financial records to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant fiscal operations.

Reviewing and coding financial transactions, supporting payroll and personnel records, and monitoring program activities to support accurate billing and financial reporting.

To be considered for this position, you must have a bachelor's degree with emphasis in accounting or business or a combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
