Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, you will:
- Conduct routine patrols of assigned areas
- Monitor facilities and report safety or security concerns
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with post orders
- Control access to buildings and restricted areas
- Monitor CCTV and security systems
- Complete detailed reports and daily activity logs
- Assist employees, visitors, and vendors with professionalism
- Observe and report suspicious activity
- Coordinate with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary
- Help maintain a safe, secure, and professional environment
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid security license, if required by state law
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to walk extended distances and remain on your feet throughout the shift
- Ability to pass all required pre-employment screenings
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
