Key qualifications:
- Active and current California Special Education teaching credential is required
- Previous experience working in RSP or similar Special Education settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with colleagues and families
- Ability to implement IEPs and adapt instruction to meet individual student needs
- Commitment to a consistent, full-time schedule through the end of the school year
Primary responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted instruction and support in accordance with students' IEPs
- Track progress, document interventions, and participate in eligibility/IEP meetings
- Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure the best learning outcomes
- Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment
- Engage families, offering clear updates on student goals and achievements
