Job Overview
Robbins Auto is seeking an experienced Automotive Controller to join our executive leadership team overseeing Robbins Nissan and Robbins Chevrolet in Humble, Texas.
Established in 1928, Robbins is one of the oldest family-owned automotive companies in Texas and continues to operate with a long-term vision focused on people, relationships, accountability, and operational excellence. This is not a large corporate public company environment. We are looking for a hands-on executive level leader who wants to become an important part of a privately owned organization with deep roots in the community.
This position oversees accounting and financial operations for two dealership franchises operating from one campus. They will oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing strategic insights to support business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory frameworks, with a passion for driving financial excellence in a fast-paced environment.
This position is far more than a traditional accounting role. The controller serves as a senior operational and financial leader within the organization, working directly alongside ownership and General Managers as part of the executive leadership team to help drive the overall success, profitability, accountability, and long-term growth of the company.
The ideal candidate will possess the leadership presence, operational understanding, and business acumen necessary to function as a trusted business partner within the organization. This individual will play an integral role in high level decision making, financial strategy, operational accountability, and organizational leadership while helping maintain our culture, values, and reputation.
